My story is a bit unusual when you consider that I wasn’t in the least bit spiritual before the brain surgeries that turned my life upside-down…and now I am in 24/7 contact with my spiritual team and wholeheartedly embrace the psychic gifts that eventually made themselves known as I adjusted to a whole new “normal.” I know the Universe always does have my back, whether it’s guiding me via my team or providing the circumstances that will set my soul up for the lessons it still needs to learn in order to advance/ascend.
There has been much loss and betrayal over my lifetime. I suppose you could consider my brain surgeries and the subsequent loss of career/income to be my spiritual awakening. I eventually woke up to the ways I had been living life in very dysfunctional ways because of core wounds that needed to be addressed and healed. Before my awakening, I was oblivious to the fact that narcissists had played a huge role in my life, shaping who I was with manipulation and gaslighting. My healing journey has been quite intense, a spiritual partner/twin flame bringing up many triggers that have made me aware of yet another thing that needs to be healed. Awareness is the first step…and then the real work comes.
